negotiate baud A baud rate negotiation algorithm will negotiate a higher baud rate between the host and the exposure head. During the baud rate negotiation algorithm, the host and exposure head will exchange baud rates until both the host and the exposure head agree on a baud rate. Once the baud rate has been negotiated, the exposure head will configure the negotiated baud rate and generate a break condition. The host will wait for the break condition and then configure the negotiated baud rate to complete the baud rate negotiation. The baud rate negotiation algorithm is only supported by the Tfx and Thermal 2 exposure heads and has only been implemented for diagnostic purposes.
